Academy Rules & Regulations

Discipline is the foundation of a true Defence Officer. Every cadet is expected to adhere strictly to the guidelines and ethical standards set by the academy.

Zero-Tolerance Policies

Anti-Ragging Directive

Ragging in any form (physical, verbal, or mental harassment) is strictly prohibited as per Hon’ble Supreme Court directives. Any candidate found guilty will face immediate expulsion and police prosecution.

Mobile Phone Restrictions

Smartphones are prohibited during class hours and physical training ground sessions. Hostel cadets are allowed limited mobile usage during designated evening hours only.

Core Operational Guidelines

Classroom Discipline

  • Attendance: Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory for appearing in CBT Mocks.
  • Punctuality: Gate closes 5 minutes before class starts. Latecomers will not be admitted.
  • Dress Code: Mandatory academy uniform & identity cards inside campus premises.

Ground & Physical Rules

  • Morning PT: Mandatory attendance at 05:30 AM Sharp at the Obstacle Track.
  • PT Kit: Standard white PT shoes, tracksuits, and academy sports wear mandatory.
  • Safety: Reporting any physical discomfort/injury to the Ex-Servicemen Instructor immediately.

Hostel & Mess Guidelines

  • Curfew: Hostel main gate closes strictly at 08:30 PM. No entry allowed afterwards.
  • Leave Policy: Out-station pass requires written parent approval via registered mobile number.
  • Mess Discipline: Wastage of food is strictly penalized. Uniform mess timings must be followed.

Frequently Clarified Policies

In case of medical emergencies or urgent family matters, an application signed by the parent/guardian must be submitted to the Chief Warden or Rector. Emergency leave approval takes a minimum of 30 minutes for verification.

Any damage to academy infrastructure, library books, laboratory computers, or hostel property will result in a recovery fine equivalent to the replacement cost plus an additional disciplinary surcharge.

Parents and guardians are allowed to meet cadets in the designated Visitor Lounge only between 04:00 PM and 06:30 PM on weekends. Visitors are strictly restricted from entering student hostel dormitories.

Discipline Begins With Self-Commitment

Every admitted student must sign the official discipline undertaking form during the campus onboarding session.
